The gathering, with close to 250 attendees, was chaired by Karen Koslowitz and Barry Grodenchik, ANALYSIS both retired NewYork City Council members and former Queens depu- ty borough presidents. It felt initial- ly like a political rally with mem- bers of the New York State Assembly, New York City Council, Queens County District Attorney’s Office, Borough President Dono- van Richards, Mayor Eric Adams and videos of national elected rep- resentatives lovingly extolling the virtues and accomplishments of Nussbaum, co-publisher of the Queens Daily Eagl e and former publisher of the Queens Tribune and Press of Southeast Queens .
